We’ll start the tour by crossing a railway bridge leading to the Dharavi Slum, where our guide will discuss slums around the world & give the details of Dharavi. Enter the Dharavi Slum; --First visit the Industrial Area to: 1. Observe recycling activities for plastics, wood, cardboard, etc. 2. Visit manufacturing sites for clothing, backpacks, luggage, etc. 3. Learn about the migrants in Dharavi and their living conditions. --Cross a street to enter the residential part & see the largest sewer in Mumbai. --Second visit to the Residential Area to: 1. Explore a local market with fresh produce. 2. Visit various schools and learn about their educational practices. 3. Discover the leather manufacturing process. 4. Tour Kumbharwada, known for pottery, and see traditional pot-making skills. 5. Explore the narrow alleys & their living conditions. We’ll conclude the tour back at the Coffee Shop, near the train station.
