Description

On this 8 hour tour of the city we try to show you most of Mumbai. We begin our tour with visit to Asia's largest slum Dharavi, where a few scenes of Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire were filmed. However Dharavi is more then what generally is depicted in movies or documentary. We take you on walk for about 2 hours exploring the working district of Dharavi to learn about everyday profession of the locals and also we walk into residential area where we learn about social issues faced by the community , overall it will be an educational tour. After we complete our visit at Dharavi we will head towards several iconic sights of Mumbai such as the famous Victoria Terminus train station which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, Gateway of India which not only is an iconic building but also has cultural importance . We also visit a few religious sites as the Jain Temple and Banganga Tank on the tour to give you an idea how important relegion is in daily life.
