China Garden, a Chinese restaurant with a sumptuous menu represents several years of hard-earned experience with quality served. There are no short cuts in Nelson Wang's repertoire. Only the truly delightful & the finest dishes grace China Garden's tables.
The restaurant with an ambience has a complete departure from the regular traditional Chinese lanterns, red lacre that everyone at the time was used to, China Garden is decorated with gigantic Chinese vases, gurgling waterfalls and dangling ferns. Its flooring is done with white marbles.
China Garden became an instant hit, a Mumbai landmark whose fame spread quickly beyond the city- sought after by globe trotters as much as it was loved by the locals. Soon it became what it is today - the most high profile and the first internationally recognised Indian restaurant name.
China Garden's success was soon followed up by the launch of Piano Bar next door, the first club exclusively meant for ladies.
The Gandhis, Ambanis, Bachchans and Kapoors have been patrons and most regular visitors of this iconic restaurant, each with their own favorite dish.
