The curriculum at RTSA is based on the professional experience of Prof. Roshan Taneja, founder of RTSA. Professor Taneja, who is the former head of the acting department at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune , is a life long theatre artist having been in this field for the last 5 decades or so. He has taught a galaxy of celebrities over the years and has been a pillar of the Indian film industry. Hence, he is amongst the best possible teachers that an aspiring actor can hope for.
RTSA offers a four months full-time acting course that includes training of Diction, Action Problem, Imagination, Scene, Sense Memory, Subjective Study, Concentration, Voice and Dance. The student in training investigates in-depth the range of oneself, and respond to the subtleties of the complex and delicate human emotional relationships and situations that an actor faces each time he prepares for a new role. The student’s focus is kept on what he himself can do truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
RTSA takes 3 batches each year and the admissions are open throughout the year for 4 months/ 10 weeks and 6 weeks crash courses are also available.
