It is the fine art resources gallery for contemporary art. It presents the work of young and dynamic artists in contemporary art from India - including the work of Manish Nai, Varunika Saraf, Abir Karmakar and Ratheesh T. The gallery's portfolio also includes key positions of the 60s generation through the work of artists such as C.K. Rajan and Jyothi Basu. The form of art comprises painting, drawing, sculpture, textile-based art, collage, photography and video.
The gallery spearheaded international art's presence on the Mumbai scenario, hosting solo exhibitions with Kiki Smith, Jonathan Meese and Sigmar Polke. Curatorial projects include the art collections for the Deutsche Bank in India, and a retrospective of the work of Bhupen Khakhar at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai. During the years 1997 to 2003 they ran a space in Berlin for contemporary art from India organizing solo exhibitions with Atul Dodiya, Bhupen Khakhar, Jogen Chowdhury, M.F. Husain and S.H. Raza.
It opens from Mondays to Fridays at 10 am - 6:30 pm. and on Saturdays 11 am - 4 pm.
