Garden
Kamala Nehru Park is a park in Mumbai covering an area of 4,000 square feet. Perched on the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it is named after Kamala Nehru, the wife of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is essentially a vantage point that presents a panoramic view of the glittering city - Mumbai.
The park is popular among both kids and adults and frequently visited by schoolchildren. It has little to offer by way of entertainment apart from a structure shaped like a shoe. The old monument called “Boot House” or “Old Women Shoe” made up of Stone just for entertainment and a Good ride for children. The shoe structure is inspired by the nursery rhyme 'There was an old woman.' This garden is one of the most famous and oldest gardens in Mumbai.
From a particular point in the park, a person can soak in the lovely view of the Chowpatty Beach and complete Queen's Necklace. For most Mumbaikars, Kamala Nehru Park is to Mumbai what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris -- a vantage point that casts a proud eye on the entire city.
